Gruden might be ok as long as you don’t give him personnel powers .

 

They need two things in a HC:  someone who can lead men and someone who knows how modern offenses are run.

 

You don’t have to be an offensive minded guy but you do have to understand how the game is currently played .  And basically not be Meathead v2 in terms of offense.

Out on Gruden and I used to be a big fan. He got fired for his emails and stuff, but he was awful in his second Raiders stint and on the path to being fired.

He already worked for the Saints as an unpaid consultant in 2023. And is getting reinducted in their ring of Honor this year . So he’s slowly working his way back in.

 

He can never broadcast again though

Don’t discount Schwartz as well.  If it’s a choice between someone else and Schwartz.  He has the advantage of having worked in the organization.

Yeah I have come off Brady a good bit. He has done good work with Allen, but how much of that is Allen vs. what Brady is doing. I think Brady ends up in Cincinnati with Burrow if Taylor gets canned.
