Albert Breer has a few nuggets here about the HC search and some of the analytical studies the team is already undertaking about varying success rates of second time HC and coordinators with more than

It is becoming really annoying how some people are using bad result as an excuse to paint the last HC hiring process as a sham. Facts are Callahan was an in demand candidate during that hiring cycle e

Callahan was a great "candidate" and a terrible head coach.

Watched some of, "The Gambler and His Cowboys" yesterday and thought the episode was relevant to what the Titans are going through right now.

Jerry Jones hired Jimmy Johnson as Cowboys coach and he was so engrossed in winning that he slept in the cowboys facilities and divorced his wife of two decades or something because he didn't have time for family.  I thought it was such an asshole move but made me wonder if there's any single college coaches who are so focused on winning, that they'd be willing to give up their family/social life for the next decade so that our sole focus can be to win a championship.

Also, wouldn't mind a fiery character who can instill passion and confidence to rally the troops.

Why are people so high on Kingsbury? He was a failed head coach in college and the NFL. Not arguing. Genuinely curious. I don't know the details, however. I know so little about the Cardinals.

They are high on him because he's everything Callahan was supposed to be. A true Offensive guru that recognizes, worked with, and developed QB talent. The places he coached were usually top tier offensively from Houston to the Commanders.

I have no idea what happened when he was the HC but his teams scored points and got yards.

Well, here we are again.  One thing this franchise is good at is shattering dreams.  We talked about the draft for over a year.  We got the #1 pick, who the majority of professional draft guru's called da real dude.  We planned to...

I see fans cry when their team wins a Super Bowl.  Hold your water.

He’s perfectly fine as an OC and should stay at that spot.  He’s just not HC material.  He probably realizes it too.

I was making a joke about Amy being obsessed with being better than Vrabel

I don't really see how Mike McCarthy is not the clear favorite right now. To those citing his playoff record in Dallas, we can only hope to have that problem in the near future. Not to mention Dak isn't exactly Tom Brady in big games... McCarthy's failure in Dallas included three 12-win seasons in a row and his teams never quit on him, not even in the end. I'll take that over Nagy, Art Smith, and Kingsbury's HC resume.

To those citing him only having 1 SB with Rodgers in GB as evidence of him being mediocre, would Sean Payton be a step in the right direction here right now? How about 2010 Dungy?

I think some of the negative spin around him is associated with him being the Dallas Cowboys coach, with shows like Get Up, First Take, etc.  incentivized to stir the pot where losses sells more than wins.

Well his time in Green Bay ended pretty terribly with a lot of drama while Brinker was there to start lol
