Yes.  They shouldn’t be this bad.   There’s a level between having mediocre OT and bottom of barrel like we do.

 

And B) on talent level.  Whose fault is that ?  If the groceries suck and the OL coach is the main voice in that they bear responsibility.  And they spent/drafted significant resources.

 

conflicted downs=not obvious passing situations, generally 1st or 2nd and shorter

He's had success when he goes off schedule, including that touchdown but also the successful Will Levis play.

 

In fact, without his off schedule stuff, this team is even worse on offense. By far.

 

People are going to have to come to terms with the fact that Callahan probably just sucks. He's 19 games in and you've seen almost no life or growth from the team. At some point, all you're doing is making excuses. I think we're at that point.

 

Somehow, he can't figure out the buttons to push or the adjustments to make. It doesn't matter what you want to feel, after a certain point the writing's on the wall and the performance in totality tells the real story.

Technically he has gone hero ball twice and it got us a td and a very big first down, one in each game. That will go the other eay at somw point.

He'd say that if he was struck by lightning and knocked unconscious. The quarterback taking blame and being humble doesn't really excuse anyone discussing the performance from assessing things with accuracy.

You can tell Ward is getting better.  However, I see 0-6 being very likely, and Callahan won't survive that.

Is there any evidence that he’s is a good play caller?  I mean he can scheme up some passing plays .  But that’s different from having a rhythm to calling a game on offense .

 

There’s always bad plays (not talking about stuff like penalties) that kills a drive in his time here.  It always feels disjointed in some way
