As I predicted before last season the Ravens didn't believe in any of those backs nearly as much as they did in Henry which is why last season he almost got as many carries by himself (325) as the previous Ravens backfield got combined the previous season (352). Here is another crazy stat; since 2013 (post Ray Rice) the Ravens leading rusher has been Gus Edwards with 3, 395 yards in 69 games. If Henry gets even 1500 yards and 325 carries (like 2024) this season he'll pass Edwards in 31 games. The numbers don't lie. But that's clearly because of the congestion of the running lanes over the last few years here. His "weaknesses" were his pass catching ability - despite him nearly having 10 yards per catch - and that he couldn't adapt when stopped in the backfield. The solution to which obviously being him going to a team which wasn't so shitty that he was constantly being hit in the backfield.
