He better hope Maye isn't another Mariota and if he has no fix for their putrid pass blocking OL (they were statistically worse than the Titans in this area) it won't be pretty.

I like Maye and think he will be good but some ppl seem to be crowning him way too early.

Shit, if only I could be alpha like Righteous.

Vrabel magically turned into a good coach the week Tannehill stepped in as the starter. The team was 2-4 before that. Vrabel had a losing record before that.    Anyone that watched camp and

Uh, the Titans were 6-18 in Vrabel's last 24 games   The decline started before Callahan got here

I always said that Vrabel seems the type that needs to be fired once to learn some lessons and then he'd be a dangerously good HC next time around.

Here, his failures seemed to stem from ego and being a control freak. NE just gave him full control.

Not sure he learned anything from the first go around.

Yup. That's concerning. What he took away from his last firing is clearly that he didn't have enough power. We'll see i guess.

Now he's free to sign Dillard, Brewer and trade up for Willis

Yup. The man that is elite at both coaching and talent acquisition hasn't been born yet. Vrabel isn't elite at either. If this works it'll be a one of one outlier.

No worries about the pass blocking, Vrabel will personally coach up the OL.  He really doesn't even need an OL coach.

He has to get lucky with Maye for it to work, and even then.

The meathead cock-gobblers think they've won because Vrabel's former team decided to hire him.  Obviously, you all don't require him to actually perform before taking your victory lap...you all are just so desperately looking for something to be correct about, and this is the closet you've come to it in several years.

They blame the Titans for Vrabel not wanting to be here and forcing his way out. They think AAS should've just capitulated to Mike Almighty.

They had one of the best passing games because of playaction (Henry threat). Tannehill sucked in obvious passing situations vs the Ravens and the Bengals. Last drive against the Ravens was INT and we all know what happened on the last drive against the Bengals. With good QB, we win both games

This is false

Vrabel didn't have an extremely QB friendly system FFS.  Quite the opposite.

It wasn't QB friendly but it fits what people think a QB friendly offense is. That's the issue we keep running into.
