And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

What’s worse drafting a bust or passing on a guy who becomes top tier?

Probably a bust because that usually doesn't get resolved quickly where as passing over a guy doesn't stop you from other options, although the constant reminder as he succeeds would suck.

Drafting a bust .  It’s a crapshoot whether or not these guys develop.  You just kind of fall into them .  The drafting though is a different type of hell that could have been avoided.

Revisionist history as they were never in on that QB class.

Which makes it a good example for this hypothetical exercise, because we should be able to look at this clear-eyed and without contempt.

So hypothetically speaking, did drafting Davis or not drafting Mahomes hurt more?

Its a ridiculous exercise because you could go through almost every draft class and find a QB they should of taken regardless of whether they were in on that class or not.

They were so far out on that particular QB class they reportedly had parameters of a trade deal agreed with the Chiefs to allow them to come up to get Mahomes had JRob decided he wanted to trade out (reported by Peter King in his MMQB column)
