Anyways, if there's a quote or something that I missed that said we won't be selected iOL with draft capital outside of day three then I retract what I've said.

Zeitler is a stopgap

Based on the reports they are bringing Levin back and the talk of positional value I'd be very surprised if they took an interior OL early than day 3.

And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

I agree. Wouldn't expect anything on day 1 or 2.  If you look at the Chiefs draft history under Veach and Borgonzi the past 7-8 years, they take OL in the 3rd-5th rounds regularly. We also have both Brinker and Borgonzi talking about how teams need to be strong on the EDGE, OT on offense and DE/OLB on defense. These guys get it. The question is can they execute the plan and pick the right guys.

I guess as it currently stands, it doesn’t make sense to me they would give up capital to pry someone from another team and no one is coming in that’s going to move the needle as much as a Cam Ward.

FWIW Daniel Jeremiah on that new NFL Show 40's & Free Agents said his people inside the NFL are still telling him even after doing basically nothing at QB during FA not to rule out the Titans trading back but no further back than #3.

That would be so funny. People will riot if the QB room is Levis/Allen.

Jeremiah is very much the outlier with his take but he has been on a hot streak recently he did predict the Geno Smith trade and the exact Cooper Kupp contract value and destination.

Listening to the bit where Wyatt was warning fans not to just assume they are taking a QB at #1 and the timeline he was discussing regards other potential options clearly points towards two veteran options in Kirk Cousins and Derek Carr.

A number of the National "insiders" still have the Saints/Derek Carr situation as a watch for a potential post June 1st trade as the restructuring of his contract was purely a necessity to allow them to become cap compliant and to make other moves.

To be clear just as I felt back in early January the most likely outcome with the #1 pick remains that this team does what QB needy teams historically have done and that is find it hard to pass on a QB with the #1 pick, I just find it a little strange that even after digesting the first wave of FA moves that Wyatt and Jeremiah still won't rule out the potential of trading back from #1.

We're rebuilding, have no shot at the playoffs let alone a Superbowl, let's tank the right way instead of being like Jeff Fisher and going 8-8 and missing out on elite talent in the draft. Trade down to #3 and get Hunter since Cam and Carter will likely be gone
