And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

Looks more and more like Titans have settled on Ward. It was always the most likely outcome. Hope the gamble pays off.

It would only be a gamble if there is a big time trade offer they reject IMO. Otherwise it's just a team picking a QB they like, which is hard to fault them for.

You are giving up much safer bets on high end blue chip players to take a swing on a QB hoping he can develop into something. It’s absolutely a gamble.

This is his biggest problem. He's the opposite of a clutch QB.

We used to have a prominent Canadian poster who didn’t possess a “right brain”. He argued repeatedly that there was no such thing as “clutch” ability.  I seriously don’t understand how people like that can even function.

Buck said he believes the Titans want to trade the 1st pick and also fully expect to terrible this year

Is Callahan a Brinker guy?

In the back of my mind, I thought it was a possibility we punt on QB entirely this year.  Then end up with a new QB/Head Coach combo next year.  With Borgonzi being upfront about it being a long rebuild, I can see him wanting his own guy.

The clock is running on a team turnaround that needs to be done by 2027.  Not sure just giving up this season to get rid of Callahan is the thought.

Not really - Look what Washington did with Daniels/Quinn. Borgonzi knows what a successful NFL coach looks, usually a GM wants his own guy.
