Carthon has 0 Reason to be fired. How many NFL teams have 4 rookies contributing to the team like the Titans do? And they didn’t even have a 3rd round pick. Calling for the GM to be fired when he had a great draft, and it was made known to the fans that this is a multiple year rebuild, is just stupid and shortsighted. The team is 3-12. Being a modest contributor to a terrible team doesn't mean much at all . By this time, Robinson had already drafted 3 All Pros and 4 players who would go on to be starters for a number of years, and they won a playoff game. There's been some promise shown out of the rookie class. But 2 draft classes in, I don't think we've seen anyone who looks like a future All-Pro or even that big of a difference maker in general. japan

Did he not do everything he could to build up the shit roster that was left after Vrabel finally got shitcanned? Some fans just expect a shut roster to turn into a Super Bowl contender overnight. That’s not the reality of the NFL You do realize the short term bump the top spender in FA usually receives, a study was done and the team that spends the most in FA ON AVERAGE improves by just over 3.5 wins the following season before things equalize or drop off. It was a good draft. But a couple of those players must play at a high level before calling it great DCTitan

Sweat is a future all pro as well as Latham. Carthon himself said that this was really his first draft because Vrabel really controlled the team last year. But, my question is what area of the team is clearly improving and something to build on for next year? Wait, I thought Brinker was the polished, articulate shadow GM overseeing Carthon. I guess Brinker gets the praise but none of the blame. What do you think @BudsOilers? Firstly I would of accepted the gift the Rams dished up in the draft, secondly I would of had a veteran RT somewhere on the roster entering training camp, there is no way in hell I would of signed Murray to the money they did. titansfan
Lot of guys accepting of a regression after what many consider a good to great offseason. Results matter. I def agree on the RT. The Murray contract is only like 7mill guaranteed. That’s basically nothing in NFL terms oldschool
