Case can be made but still disagree that he is a guaranteed top 5 CB. He had a great year last year matching up with studs. He was highly penalized. We will see how he does with us.

He's not guaranteed to be a top 5 corner but honestly it's not because of ability and it's probably true for most of those guys around the top 5. I think the only guy on that list that will be a lock in that top 5 is Sauce. You also got rising young guys in Stingley, Surtain, etc that could displace those guys. I think the main point is that Sneed is one of those dominant corners that at least has a good chance to nullify a stud receiver.  He certainly has top 5 ability and can be in that class in any given year.

Well, they need to be conscious to talk.

Well guess we have reached that time of the year to open the first regular season discussion of the season, a week from now we will be dissecting what happened against the Bears.   Some init

And a great range it is as I am still above ground and there's an empty ashes box.   Here's to a great and exciting season.  Probably not as many wins as each hopes, but now a 21st century s

Here are some I dig up from the GQ. The best is January 2023 after Scwartz left me saying Bowen/Vrabel were trash. I constantly fought people on there all year as well to fire Vrabel. There is a screenshot of my reaction to Levis being drafted. I think you all can relax now. Clearly Scwartz is my guy, I hated Vrabel/Bowen.

I was constantly fighting the folks on there wanting to keep Vrabel & I was not up or down on the Levis pick just in the middle.

Seriously dude... wasn't full kidding on the GenX mentality: grow a thick skin, DGAF.

And you don't owe anybody here squat.

Normally most would say ignore @reo.... generally sound advice (j/k Reo... mostly... at least until I have to see you using Bernoulli's principle in some lift coefficient to explain why NWI won't make the team)... but in this case he was pretty much spot on.

Everyone here likes to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks.  Lord of Backtracking and Sir Moving the Goal Posts are damn near Royal Titles at TR.  These educated, though mostly uneducated, guesses - by default - are typically wrong. Simple nature of the beast.  But damn fun though right?

So always expect disagreement whether right or wrong.  Ever read a book/watch a show with no conflict?  Yaaawwwwnnnn.    Keeps this place interesting, albeit a bit like shopping at Goodwill: gotta flip quick through much crap to find the jewels.

Good luck.

I’m new and have been called a homer,

So I simply posted pictures showing what I said is true. I hated Vrabel/Bowen. I loved Scwartz. I am a millennial, just 32 years old brother.

Maybe I know something about defense after all. Clearly not a homer.

Correct now they have a DC in Wilson who will run some aggressive press man stuff that is going to lead to a lot more holding penalties especially from Sneed and Awuzie.

A few holding penalties is still better than 10 yard cushions on 3rd and 8

One of my concerns is the Titans tax and Sneed who could of been called for a shit tonne more holding/illegal contact penalties last season at the Chiefs actually gets called for them now he is a Titan.

If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin' right?

Was so sick in some recent times that when we got them in 3rd and superlong, you just KNEW they'd convert ... on a penalty, blown coverage, poorly covered screen, anything.

I'm not optimistic it will last the season, but we're talking 1980s Summer's Eve freshness here with this team.  Most anticipatory season in memory that was not based on being a potentially high total.

A fair concern, but it comes with the scheme

Looks like you rode the Vrabel train a long, long time!  You Croatian bro?

I never really was on it TBH. Vrabel was a good motivator horrible X’s and O’s going back to houston. I joined that board in late 2022, so that was my first titans interaction there.
