The biggest bright spot last night was Sweat's play.    6 tackles, 2 more loss and constantly disrupting the Miami blocking schemes. He did this without Simmons as well. He played 78% of the

Titans HAD to upgrade their Dline. Newton, Fiske, and Jenkins were all guys who played the same role as Simmons. I like those guys but I've told people all offseason that the Titans weren't going to d

As long as they can keep Sweat away from Davenport he's got a chance!

I read or heard he was playing at 370 last year. Actually maintaining that kind of mass while playing football is crazy. The guy is built like Vince Wilfork, except he's more finesse, which is interesting to watch.

Regardless of anything, the move he put on Cushenberry a couple days ago was filthy. That's what I was talking about with him pre and post draft about his hand fighting and agility for his size are top notch.

That is an insane amount of weight to maintain. Most guys lose like 5-15 lbs during the season.

Sweat and Simmons have the potential to negate a lot of other personnel deficiencies on defense. Two dominant DTs who can destroy the middle of an OL and can't be ever left 1-on-1 would allow a lot of freedom of coverages behind the front 4 and a lot more aggression.

Hell ya.  This team needs young legit players all across the board.  I get wanting to collect picks but I also think it's important to stick and pick when you see a potential stud that fits (or maybe even transcends) your scheme.

Hopefully RC can find the right balance going forward.

In the mean I'm gonna enjoy focusing more game time watching Meatloaf shoot into offensive backfield like a bat out of hell.
