You are 100% right!  My fear is Levis is difficult to teach.  Yeah!  Yeah!  I got it coach!  Then he helicopters to get an extra yard.

Another tiny thing is the QB Coach said pre-draft Levis has a funny elbow/arm angle that causes him to struggle with touch on ball position.  After the Atlanta game, the QBC scrubbed his site.  The QB coach he has now talks about technique improvement.

Who knows?  If the QBC was right I think you would hear that from other sources.  I tried to contact his site to ask him to explain why he took it down.  But truth be told--He'll say anything to get more clicks.  Still you hear working on technique, just not what exactly.

You for real tried to contact him? Lol we are a bunch of damn hooligans.

Because if he does t rein in the stupid he is going to end the season looking like Winston and as much as in the middle as you can claim that is its still a bust.

I see your point...maybe he gives us some good play but still does some stupid shit.

I just think that it's tough on an organization to just throw that away and roll the dice again...unless your sitting with one of the top pics in the draft.  In some ways I think the options that are out there for you to plug in at QB come the off season  probably have as much to do with it as how he plays.

Where we pick likely is a good indicator for better or worse. They did a good job of surrounding him. If we have a top 10 pick again unless the defense is absolutely garbage. Or Oline Jesus suits the bed it may be his undoing.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is officially in the fold for the upcoming season.

Higgins signed his franchise tag Saturday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. By signing the tag, the fifth-year wide receiver is now expected to be at training camp.

Higgins is set to earn $21.8 million this season under the tag. He and the Bengals can still negotiate a long-term deal until July 15, though the likelihood of that seems unlikely.

Inevitable. He's not good enough for teams to trade for him.

I'm not a Dak Prescott fan, but he may be available next off-season..

The QB salaries are a created problem.  They want QB centric football. Way back when Peyton was playing they started making big changes for QB protection. It worked!  Then the problem they created started kicking teams in the butt.  There aren’t enough QBs that can win a championship.

The game used to have more balance. The Purple People Eaters. The Steel Curtain. Doomsday. They still needed offense, but backup QBs on these teams could come in and win. NOD was washed and won every game he started, w/Titans WRs.

So a team sport becomes so much about one player Daniel  Jones signs for 160M.  He can’t elevate the Giants enough to justify the price, but that’s what QBs cost.

What if the Giants developed a kid to run their offense. Then surrounded him with better talent that fits the system he’s been taught.

I know it’s not that simple, but the way it’s designed if you don’t draft a Mahomes, Allen, Jackson or a Levis, you are just trying to win the also ran NFL tournament.

It has always been about the QB/passing game. Even the 72 Dolphins who went undefeated and are known for a great running game(2 1000 yard rushers) and great defense led the league in passer rating and yard per pass. They played a back-up QB too.

78 SB Cowboys vs Steelers. #1 and #2 QBs in passer rating. Many examples of this going back decades. They were both awesome defensively against the pass.

Foles recently won the SB as a back-up.
