AJ Brown and Davis Long were hurt all the time with the Titans.   With their new teams they haven't missed any time. Coincidence or Titan related? Either way I'm tired of it

It's a big one. All offense:   By Bob McGinn     Our draft coverage at Go Long isn’t sanitized. The goal is to provide accurate, honest appraisals of players from those who ha

That approach makes sense. The big-time players in the big schools are playing at a level list the closest in caliber to the NFL and when you’re trying to change a culture, you definitely want people that come from winning programs to help set the tone.  Not so sure the Titans need this massive culture change like since he did when that regime arrived there but you still want winning people

It's not necessarily a tactic they will repeat here, but it's an insight worth paying attention to as we discuss players.

Not sure I like the first part. Look where guys like Mahomes and Josh Allen played. A lot of guys from big name schools in college end up doing nothing in the pros.

I do think there is some merit to the 2nd part, but ultimately is he a good player or not. A lot of teams tried to poach players from the Pats and the results were very mixed at best. I won't even get into the coaches...

Why? In a game of probabilities you mind as well maximize it.

Remember BC favors the 11 personal group.   This means you have to have two more WR and a LT.  Makes a ton of sense to use the cap space top get Higgins and Boyd for Levis and the LT at 7.

They are not poaching both Higgins and Boyd, if they even poach either of them. With Higgins it would probably cost more than just a fat contract, if the Bengals even let him go, which I don't think they would. They can't just rely on Chase. Boyd is more within the realm of possibility to go with a rookie and DHop. And maybe with a real offense to work in Burks can finally find some extended success.

It sucks probably not having a shot at Nabers. I just want something exciting lol

It's a long time until April. Haven't even gotten to the Senior Bowl yet, let alone the combine. A lot of shifting narratives, risers, and fallers between now and when the Titans pick.

Old school thinking take OT at 7.

New school thinking take WR at 7.

Over simplification, new school thinking knocked Titans out of SB and got Cinncy to SB.  But also has their QB hurt for significant amounts of two seasons.

Not that simple. While an elite WR is more impactful for a QB and offense than an OT. And this "oversimplification " dismisses the context that there will be a talented OT at 38. Truly rather have an average OT with top tier offensive weapon than elite OT and decent WR

He currently has Malik Nabers as his #1 ranked player in the draft, Odunze 5th, Fashanu 12th, Alt 16th.

I've previously said that Nabers would have an AJ Brown effect on this offense.  So I'm not surprised that he's #1.

People need to rewind this live youtube feed and listen to the Callahan interview with Stillman and him talk about how the Broncos and Bengals were built (when he was there) and how he leans taking offensive playmakers who can score points over OL.

He has a fundamental belief you have to have elite offensive weapons for times when you simply have to have points to win games.

Yeah if Harrison Jr. or Nabers are there I think we take them over an LT. But ... I have a feeling they won't be anyway lol
