Vrabel gaining more personnel control is not a good thing - regardless of who the new GM is - I promise you that.

Vrabel's comment "who is he going to throw it to?" about the receivers/Malik is a little more cryptic now.    I loved Jrob, but I love AAS more. She ain't fucking around. Ya love to see it.

Even so, the Brown trade had to have been the straw the broke the camel's back after Sunday. The rotten cherry on top of the shit sundae. Vrabel's reaction on draft night got downplayed at the time, but it's really glaring now. Not that this makes Brown any less of a head case, but this really puts how that went down into a different light.

Fuck Injury Tent Brown.  If he'd have been on the our side of the field, he'd have spent 3/4 of the game in the sanctitude of his happy place.   He didn't want to play for the Titans.   Everyone, especially Vrabel, needs to accept it.

If memory serves, J-Rob didn't even offer Davis or Jonnu anything. His confidence in being able to replace good players on a dime bordered on arrogance. At least with AJ he had a first round pick and a receiver rich draft at his disposal.

That Jonnu thing backfired in his fat ass face.  He didn't even bother tagging him and replaced him with Swaim, Pruitt and whatever.

That's what I've thought all along, and it may still be true. But maybe the reason his desire to play elsewhere became more crystalized was because of how Robinson handled everything.

In his defense he did draft Chiggy. But in his offense he probably would have let him go too later on down the road... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, let's not forget that he drafted Jonnu instead of George Kittle like he should have...

If this current team is healthy they are absolutely a SB contender. This is way bigger than the construction of the current roster.

This current team being healthy, includes who?   Lewan.    I'm not sure why this is hard for some of you to understand.

But of course, expecting Lewan to be healthy is almost as ludicrous as ITB, when he was with the Titans.

I honestly think he spends more time on the field now, just to shove it in the Titans face.  Once the afterglow is over, he'll go back to his ways of loafing half a game.    What is it about top level receivers that makes most of them head cases?

Look, I still think trading AJ will work out in the long run but a lot of my defense off the trade was in trusting Robinson's judgement on the situation. I trusted that the reason he traded him was that he felt he couldn't sign AJ long term. But he seriously traded him without even discussing it with the owner? Clearly I was too trusting of him. That is an insane thing to do. Still think AJ is a little bitch, still think Burks will fill in well, but if I can't trust the decision-maker, I can't trust the decision. I'm waving the white flag on this one. Holy fuck, what a day.

Just curious does anyone know whether Vrabel still did his appearance on the Mike Vrabel TV show today?

Yes, this news was never mentioned 🤣

Y'all will laugh but this really was the original sin. We never recovered from this and trying to fill this whole also led to deficiencies at other positions.

I've never seen a GM who didn't want to extend his draft picks before.  I think he got a bit full of himself after rebuilding the O line in such a savvy way when he arrived (he was very proud of the D Kelly trade) but he couldn't find one of those guys like Kline, Spain, etc. to save his life the past couple of years.

Like you mentioned, If Robinson made better business decisions regarding his own draft picks and signing FAs, he'd have been even better in the draft-an area where his performance absolutely didn't warrant his firing-and he'd likely be untouchable
