Yeah, it's being blown way out of proportion. I think it was an unwise thing to say, but it's not like it has catastrophically changed anything. I think some people are going way too hard in defending it. It was still dumb to say, but it should be old news by now. Not everything has to be a colossal mistake or an awesome history making statement... He just says things the President of the US shouldn't at times. This was one of those. They will spend that energy even when there’s nothing to talk about. That explains constant social media outrages about things that in retrospect even the people outraged about it at the time seem to say they overreacted.
