He wasn't even starting then. Totally void of any valid context. This is weak.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but his brethren; anti-prophet Adam Rank was the lone selector of the Titans amongst the NFL folk. oldschool, tgo, and AussieTitanFan08

They are hanging onto this season by a thread. Vrabel has gotten a lot out of this team. We were hurting when we beat the Bills. Hurting against the Chiefs. Hurting against the Colts. Somehow, whoever is wearing a Titans jersey feels he can compete with anybody.

But people also need to remember that he has so many yards because of volume. And I'm certainly not trying to take anything away from Henry. He's having a great career and might be on the way to the Hall of Fame. But when I watch Taylor, I have no idea why the Colts just don't give him the ball 30 times a game. Yes, he'd wear down but at the same time for the short term it would help them win more games. They'd certainly have had a better chance to win last Sunday with more Taylor and less Wentz. well.... yes and no. he's also limited in his YPC because of volume as well. Because he runs so much, teams sell out to stop him first... so to get the same production - he has to run more. He's likely much more productive on a per carry basis in a more common run/pass split offense. ... but thats a difficult hypothetical considering all the variables. If a defender gets one hand on the runner as he's running through a gaping hole, it's yards after contact. Like this one - 58 yards after contact and the CB had zero shot to tackle him because it was schemed and blocked so well. He did break Diggs tackle around the 20 legitimately though. uh... the rules apply to everyone, bud. Number9, and BudsOilers 1

That's why RYOE is a better stat than Yards after contact. it was implied that his stats there dont matter... well, they do. Of course there's better/other indicators of what good running is... but to say his specifically dont matter here because he gets big runs is just going back to the "well if we take out all the plays over 15 yards then DH (or CJ, or whoever) isnt very good compared to the players who don't" its a stupid argument. everyone understand context and in this case everyone is judged the same and he's the best in this stat. it's also not a bad stat at all - a great one in fact. just another way to jerk oneself off by denigrating their own teams players to try and seem anti-homer as possible because certain people think that makes one look smart. really just makes them look like this guy... Pray_iv_m3rcy
Am I off base to believe the way we try to establish the run game is the most inefficient way possible? The stats don't back it up because of Henry's insane durability up to this point.
