The Rams trade happened two weeks before the draft...and as soon as that deal was finalized, JRob gave indications that there could be more trades coming. Browns had already traded the #2 overall to the Eagles by that point, and held the Eagles' #8 pick on draft day....which they ultimately traded to the Titans. JRob's first trade was for DeMarco Murray earlier in the offseason. Second trade was the blockbuster deal with the Rams. The trade up for Conklin was trade #3. I am a hopeful man and thus refuse to believe anyone is truly as stupid as all that.
