The initial ones were good for its time but we had them for about five years too long.

Things I like: The nameplate font. Great nod to the country culture the six string pants stripe. Even more elite nod to the country culture. And something incredibly unique. Going to the oilers color scheme. Jersey technology has gotten much better since they were the Oilers and they were the freshest looking units when work over the past few years going back to the white helmet. Hated that we had a dark blue helmet for years. they still found a way to incorporate the dark blue Things I don’t like: going to a roundel instead of keeping the flames. I think the jerseys would be better if the shoulder sleeves were the logo rather than the six strings in a third spot (it’s on the helmet stripe too)

Losing the flames is such an unforced error though
