Yeah remember only seeing Lions games around Thanksgivings for some reason. No satellite TV for me but we always had Sunday Night Prime Time. Love that song that they used to play. Much like your outrage over the Brownlee trade you might want to listen to PK's reporting on Sweat apparently he has fallen back into bad habits they are having trouble motivating him during the week to prepare for games, he isn't taking his diet seriously and hence isn't fitting into the culture they are trying to set. The main thing that probably saves him before this trade deadline is the hope whoever the new HC happens to be is able the connect with Sweat and get the best out of him. Right now there is only one way this thing is trending and it is what happens with players all over the league that get pushed out when they were not selected by the current regime.

it was also part of that time period where you pretty much needed a satellite dish to get games if they weren't nationally televised. The lions were holiday games and exciting but pretty rare outside rhat though they did get a few because of sanders. was pretty incredible.

Sweat played a shit ton of snaps last year and was pretty good when he did play. hes got 2 sacks, 2tfl, and a QB hit in 3 games this season without Simmons helping him out. People are pissed he had a problem recovering from surgery. And he has weight issues. But he's played decently well and could be a beast whenever he has support.

Thats what happens when you are the only threat on the team as a RB. You saw it happen here for 2 years and he still had 1500 and 1100 yard seasons. Outside of Barry, there's not a RB in history that produces with zero other threats.
