? Wont know that until tomorrow.

They've invested more evaluating him than any other player in the draft.

Doubt they'd work him out twice, visit with him, interview him at the combine, and send Robinson and Mularkey to his pro day if they didnt think he was a fit.

Plus an anonymous NFL scout and a personnel exec predicted we'd take him at 5 if we stay (not to mention all the smoke from draftniks saying the same from sources).

Nothing feels better than watching rookie QB highlights in the draft and not giving a shit. I haven't paid one bit of attention to the QBs in this draft and it's glorious.

Is it Thursday yet?

The team needs speed. Davis may work but not Williams. Williams is an immediate redzone threat but not a big play guy who gets open on his own. Redzone efficiency is our current strength with few to no  dynamic play makers.

Is this what you are referring to as why he isn't a fit? So since he doesn't have high end speed he doesn't fit. He ran a low 4.5 which is pretty good for a guy his size. An immediate red zone threat added to our efficiency sounds like a pretty good fit. I wouldn't say we have any redzone threats outside of Delanie but he is far from a big time redzone threat. With Mariota at QB Williams doesn't need a step to get open. He can place the ball where Williams will make a play. One of his strengths is making plays on 50/50 balls down field so once again he doesn't need to have a step or two on a defender to make a big play. Williams isn't my guy but this idea that he isn't a fit because he doesn't run a 4.3 is off. If Williams can become a better route runner he will get the separation that he hasn't shown. It has nothing to do with straight away speed.
