This move now means they have two highly drafted young EDGE guys who are currently better against the run than they are disrupting the QB. We will need the fulness of their rookie contracts to know but at least one of them really needs to significantly improve at affecting the QB otherwise we will look back and question whether it was the best use of draft capital by Borgonzi. Yeah it was hard not to feel a sense of "meh" immediately following both picks. That's not what I'm looking for in the 2nd round or with a 2nd pick. oldschool, and Kcroy420 1

NashvilleNinja
Eh? Meh? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Pregnon, Bisontis, and Dunker were all gone, as was Keionte Scott. The idea with Trost is to convert him to guard.

GLinks
A couple of days ago on Pushing the Pile with Mike Renner and JP Acosta both said if they were the Cardinals they would rather trade a 3rd for Will Levis (or 1 or 2 other young backups, but also, Levis specifically) than draft anyone after Mendoza and punt on QB til ‘27. Unlikely but would be awesome. Edited April 24 by GLinks titanruss

GLinks
I would love to get Treydan Stukes (or Keionte Scott but less hopeful he makes it there; slim chance either are there, but still—) as he can play NB or FS. If Sam Hecht is there at 69, that’s probably the move I’d make, but if he’s not, I can see a scenario where they have to “reach” on the likes of Jake Slaughter, Jager Burton or Trey Zuhn, whom I really like, unless they’re willing to risk trading back from 69. I guess Kyle Louis is another candidate here, but I’m willing to punt on LB until later. As stated, this is a bit tough to navigate without 101 in hand. Would of much preferred rather than maintaining the same number of picks just parting with pick #142 which was around the value of what Borgonzi gave up with all the pick swaps. Possible that wasn't cool with the Bills.
rns90
It’s gotta be a guard if one is there at 69 . Guess I could also see an OT. also Kuharsky was sort of right/accurate when he mentioned WR, edge, OL as primary focuses on the draft.

Those two things would be money for the titans and push down some quality players hopefully. rns90, and Justafan
