lol who would have guessed the draft nerds would be upset at what it costs to move back into the 1st round for Faulk? Borgonzi is building this team the right way and you guys are complaining about 3rd round pick swaps and giving up a 4th.

Amon-Ra St. Brown went in the 4th. We got an awesome kick returner last year at the same spot we were going to be drafting tomorrow.

I'm not "upset" over the trade for Faulk. If that's how the trade had to be structured to get it done and Borg was determined not to miss out on Faulk, then so be it. I believe in what he's doing. But that doesn't mean it's unreasonable or illogical to be disappointed in missing out on such a large pool of players to pick from.

Hope we make moves to get back into the 4th, but if we don't then so be it.

The Titans better shore up their interior OL whether it's in the draft, trades or free agency.

When in 69, it is unlikely to get Pregnon.

Vrabel trading away all those day 3 picks he won’t be there for

Weak argument. Less than 50% of 1st rounders sign a 2nd contract with the team that drafted them. The overwhelming number of guys taken in the 4th or later are out of the league in 4 years. You can obviously find guys all throughout the draft but a 4th is worth way less than a 1st. Going to get a prospect like Faulk is easily worth a 4th and then some.

We didn't even give up the 4th. We slid back a round. I imagine Levis can get us up close to that back, say 20-25 picks in the 4th. We also have 3 fifth rounders left. If we want to move up from 69 or the 140s we can.

It's not just that they gave up on the 4th round pick. They also gave up ammo to be able to collect more players tonight. There was the expectation that they would have traded back from 35 to have more shots to fill out the roster. Their stated mission from last year.

But like Borg said, they wanted to stay fluid and get their guys at the top of their board. They did that. I'm not mad at that. I still would have liked to see them flip 4th rounders instead of flip the 4th for a 5th. But like I said, if that's the only way he could get the deal done in a limited time then so be it.

The bottomline is, again as I said, I believe 100% in Borgonzi's ability to scout and draft talent. Surely you understand why we might want to see him get as many swings at bat as possible.

nah this is just dumb FF/draft nerd shit where you think 4th rounders and latter are Tom Bradys waiting to happen because you took WR6 in round 15 and he ended up your leading scorer in a ppr league.

If Faulk is the player the Titans scouted and think he is, moving up from 35 to 31 and giving up or moving back picks in the back of the draft, thats a win every time. I'd rather the team come out of the draft with 2 top 20 prospects than 1 top 10 and some rando ranked anywhere from 40-70. nevermind the fact the draft nerds have been saying for months the difference between 40-70 prospect wise is minimal.

The draft isn't about the dudes you don't get. It's about the ones you do get. So far we have two good ones

Let's all Titan Up and send good energy to the draft room.  We all want the guys to be successful on and off the field.

Don B proved last year that we can trust his sifting process. He'll find the gold in them there hills!
