I read that Whitecotton and Saleh fell in love with Faulk at his pro day and were calling about trading back into the first for Faulk even before the draft started yesterday. I could totally see the Texans making up a story about how they sniped the Titans though.

Borgonzi is building this team the right way and you guys are complaining about 3rd round pick swaps and giving up a 4th. It is hilarious. After 22 I was praying Faulk would somehow make it through Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, Buffalo and KC just so I could go to bed with a glimmer of a hope Faulk would continue a shocking slide to 35. He was squarely the prime and top prospect still remaining in that area of the draft. I was ecstatic when I sae we traded up because I thought it couldn't be for anyone else.. so glad we remained disciplined to the board because the board was screaming to get aggressive and get the prospect you like but didn't expect to be available. Crying over what will quite possibly end up a rotational depth piece (101) at best is funny Edited April 24 by titansfan oldschool, rns90, and Dangermode
titansfan
This draft really starts a real downward trend in talent around pick 80. Giving up 101 is not a big deal. We kept the same amount of selections and we'll be choosing among similar talent at 140 that is found in the 4th Round rns90

titansfan
Credit to @oldschool for really bringing this board back to got damn earth. Crying over missing out on Nate Boerkircher is NUTS. I had 17 prospects that I felt were legitimate 1st round prospects. Faulk was one of them (he was #16). I was actually a fan of Shemar Stewart last year and would have been okay if we traded up frim the 2nd round to get him. I think Faulk is a better version of him with actual proof of production when it comes to sacking the QB (he had 7 sacks in 2024). This will probably be the best value pick we have all draft. Again kudos to Borgonzi and company for having disciplined aggression. Circle the guys youd want and go get them if the opportunity presents itself SleepingTitan

Won't be saying that when Faulk is looking at asking for 40M in 4 years and they exercise the 5th year Dangermode
