Our offensive talent is arguably worse than last year right now so I have little interest in adding more resources to defense

What? I mean, if Ridley is healthy, he should be a + member of the offense. Robinson knows the system and stepped in for Nabors. Dike and Ayo will b year two and improved..

We have the exact same roster on offense except we've traded Chig for Wandale and replaced our starting C and RG with backups. We don't know if Chig/Ayo/Helm will improve, we can hope of course but it's the NFL and sophomore slumps are a thing for a reason.

Hopefully we can get some real guys on the IOL and draft a weapon at WR or RB.

The only one I could see not improving is Ayo. Chim was improving and growing through the season. I’ll give you the draft hasn’t happened yet, but I disagree the offense doesn’t look improved. Robinson is an upgrade over Van Jefferson.

The offense in general and the skill positions in particular are still no where near where they need to be to win in the playoffs.

I'm just hoping to get to .500 or maybe squeak in to the playoffs. That would be a big step forward. I'll worry about winning once we get there.

It's hard to see Ward becoming a 4000-yard passer (what you would really like to see) with these weapons and this offensive line.

I like Ridley, but he's 31 and probably on the backside of his best days.

Wandale is good, but he got 140 targets last year, which is not very efficient offense.

Ayo is a nice young player, but he would have to take a big step forward to be a guy you feel like you could depend on.

Dike has talent, but he's a chess piece more than a full time starter imo.

Pollard is good, not great.

Helm had 350 yards last year. Bellinger 270.

Your tackles are inconsistent, you have one very good G, and then two nobodies on the offensive line.

They still have work to do to make you feel like this is a team that can even compete in this division, much less win in the playoffs.

A better run game will help alot

100%. There is a much easier path for them to be an efficient run-first offense than a pass-first offense. I think it fits the identity that Saleh is trying to build better too.

There is a reason that with plenty of cap space they aren't signing Zeitler or Jennings.  Those spots will get addressed in the draft, imo.
