Time will tell if he does the same thing in New England. His relationship with McDaniels may keep him around longer, but it's not hard to imagine their egos clashing at some point. At least the Denver game can be. Next year will likely tell us a lot. The schedule, in theory, should be a lot harder. The Patriots have now had success and he'll have to try and replicate it. The point never was whether or not the guy is a good coach. No one is arguing that at all. But whether or not the guy can win a Super Bowl. We already have data here (from his time here) that he’s too conservative. The entire playoff run just reinforced that for me . I didn't say he's arrived, but you have to be blind to not see the potential in him given what he did this year as a rookie in spite of the team he was surrounded with and in spite of an offense that really didn't fit him.
