TF_Titan
The bottom line is Ward improved noticeably down the stretch and when your QB plays well you're going to win some games. I'd rather see that at the cost of draft position than see him shit the bed guaranteeing a higher pick.

Obviously you can lose games where the QB plays well, but over time if your QB is playing well you're going to win some games...especially against bad teams. Secondarily, to see if the new GM's draft was indicative of someone who knows wtf he's doing and hoping the guy can build a team. This year it still is Cam in his second year given the importance of the position, but I think the real Tell-Me-Something-Good (praise be to Chaka Khan) needs to come from Saleh and the new staff of tenured coaches. Outside of Fassel, the difference in experience between last year's crew and this year's staff is night and day. I'm just hoping to see that translate on the field. This year is ALL about progress for the unit he drafted last year and the rise of 2 FA classes. The new rookies are really irrelevant to this year's success. Maybe one of them will have an impact from the draft class. If it's like last year, maybe 2. japan

With two first round picks and a guy who was expected to go at the top of the 2nd all likely, starting. If only 1 showed much as a rookie that would be really disappointing. Unless its tate, then I get to do my I told you so victory lap to console myself.

Sure receivers also just flat out drop the balls at times but when drops are used to defend QB play it's usually not that simple. When the receiver is schemed open, gets accurate ball placement the passes are caught way more consistently. maybe I'm a homer but I dunno man... felt different this past year than excuse making for other QBs. The Titans WRs and pass protection was horrible this past season. I was speaking more broadly than Titan specific. At the same time Ward played pretty bad at times himself. He improved but he's far from a finished product. Mythos27

I think Tate has a good year "for a rookie" but don't get you hopes up. Rookies rarely pan out first year. So rare.

So rare. Faulk will heavily rotate, as will all the DL, so he probably won't put up big numbers. Hill will start and make a lot of plays. Thats for everyone in the group not just faulk.
