I know, because you guys act like it is a 100% fact that he isn't out there on those plays. Those plays were successful, too. If you want to check, look at the games around when Harbaugh caught all that flack for taking Henry out of the game in the 4th and they lost. Then it was matchup based. You can find exceptions to every rule. If you think that proves something while ignoring the 99% of the rest of the time then you’re just being stubborn. This isn’t some revelation or fringe opinion. Backs like Barkley stay on the field 3 downs. Other backs run a rbbc because they play a role. Henry isn’t a guy who plays third down. If you want to refuse to accept that, feel free but don’t expect the rest of us to eat garbage to satisfy your view of the world.

He did do it a few times late in the year because their 3rd down RB, Hill was injured Justafan

ctm
With 9 draft picks and 50M in cap space the Titans can easily fill all their needs without trading down. The one exception that I see is OC because there aren't a lot of good options unless they hit on a guy in round 3 or 4. I wouldn't trade down just to get another pick if it required passing on a potentially elite player.

Maybe one of them could be the pick at 101.

They have plenty of picks but they don’t have enough top 100 picks and that’s assuming they bring back Zeitler. Just my two cents.

That’s the top reason it’s a real possibility. He’s an every down weapon with breakaway speed, quickness, good size, great vision, and great hands. Also, if there were a top edge or WR available we wouldn’t be thinking Love. But there’s just not. Tate looks more like a #2 WR than Megatron or Julio Jones. Reese, Bain, and Bailey are all good prospects but not elite prospects. They all have glaring questions about their game. I’d put myself on the Love Boat simply because he’s clearly the best player available. I don’t particularly want to draft a RB at #4 but it’s a weak draft at the top and he is the best prospect. More draft picks would be nice, but I don’t know if they can get great value at #4 in a weak draft and at #35 it just depends on how the board looks. I’m not against trading down, I just don’t see it as remotely necessary. I’m all for trading down in the 2nd if they want to draft a RG or some other guy they love who they think they can get later. But if a guy they really like is there at #35 and they can’t get him if they trade down then just take him. airmcnair22
Justafan
It depends on their strategy. We know they value more picks and we think that they prize top 100 picks. I can easily see them moving back from 35 and then moving up later in order to maximize their top 100 picks.

Pragidealist
I was playing with the mock drafts and the most opportunity for trade down options seem to be the second round. WR, EDGE, IOL- good options all could be had later 2nd, early 3rd. I didn't see anyone dropping out of the first that we would just snatch up or some target we'd be so worried- we'd not want to trade down. Trying to get another 3rd round pick or even 2nd round pick could be a hope... but after that the options start to drop (or at least the ones I can see). I expect Love at 4. - Tate, Bailey, Reese are all options. My gut- for whatever that is worth- says Love. I expect a trade down at 2 as there are multiple targets. Then an Edge or WR - depending on how the draft falls. Then 3rd round - they could likley target a C. That might be able to go to 4th.. my ability to see high quality C's that deep is limited. After 3rd round- I have no idea.
