I've noticed the more people like one prospect the more they tend to downgrade others.

Yep. People seem to have blinders on when they talk about their favorite guy

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

i mean.. its kind of part of the process right?  At 4 in particular- you have to get to rank order them. So its effectively a process of elimination to get to your #1, then #2, etc.

Its not saying any prospect is bad but the whole process is why choose X instead of Y.

I don't think that's the same thing.  Even if you start completely nuetral- you ahve to end with a ranking... and then you defend your ranking.  Its .. just bad faith I guess.. to call that defense bias.

It's all literally baked into selecting prospects.

You’re very condescending for a guy who gets very upset and clutches pearls whenever someone who disagrees with you just ends a sentence with “lol”

I’ve never clutched pearls on here. I don’t get upset with random nobodies on the internet. I just match the energy from all your passive aggressive bs.

What have I said passive aggressive to you about Carnell Tate?

I know I said we wouldn't pick a DB before round 5, but if we were to it should be Scott. The guy is going to be a nightmare for slot WRs and TEs.

Was coming here to post this. I know CB isnt the biggest need, but Scott just seems like a Saleh guy. I think 35 might be a little rich for him, but if we trade down from there I would be fine taking him anywhere else in the 2nd Round. I don't see anyway he makes it to 66 unfortunately.

Exactly this. If we do a trade down and grab an extra 3rd rounder then Scott becomes a target. He's going to be a great pro.

Some have said Concepcion is the best WR in this draft and hurt largely by QB play.   As someone shared earlier in this offseason- WR drops can and often are imroved.  I know teh Titans had him in for a 30 visit right?

I think he's another target if he falls out of the first round.   That's why I've said- Concepcion and Iheanachor throw off draft plans for me when i play with mocks.  Most of the time they are gone before the Titans pick but if either is there-  it could become a very heavy offensvie draft.

Otherwise, 2nd round pick is a great place for speed rushing edge, CB or LB.  As we looked a the model for the defensive line-  I can't help but think we're more likely to get our pass rush specialists in the 2nd.  It just seems to be how teams have constructed that line.

Overall at that high second spot- the fun will be around who falls out of the first and if no one does- do they trade back?

Prag, I love you bud, but for real the word is THE not TEH.

Agreed. Whoever gets him is getting a guy that is an impact Edge. He’s not going to be a fit for everybody, but someone is getting a demon

Yep. He's going to be an impact player for someone, but I don't think it's the Titans. JFM playing outside already fills that role. He reminds me of a guy like Autry with Trex arms on steroids.

Regardless if we pick him he's the best RB prospect in a long time. He's better than Barkley and Bijan as a prospect in my opinion. There's a bit of projection in the passing game, but he is every bit the receiver of those two. He has better vision by miles than Barkley and is a more natural runner than Robinson.

I feel like a lot of people forget he split time with Price and he only had 199 carries last year (only 163 the year before). Saquan Barkley had a 217 his last year. McCaffrey had 253. Bijan Robinson had 258. Jeanty had 374!!!

Most of Notre Dame's games in 2025 were blowouts and thus he was barely playing many 4th quarters either.

Faulk vs. Freeney

The argument is fun, albeit silly, because there is almost certainly not even a poor man's Freeney or Faulk in this draft. Those guys are not only HOFers, they are like top tier HOFers.

I certainly agree a stud pass rusher is worth more than an equally studly RB.

However, Faulk vs. Freeney - I'm not so sure. Faulk was so fucking dominant that I think he was actually more valuable to that offense, and team as a whole, than Freeney was to his team. Faulk was the engine through which everything else in that generational offense flowed. And so then he also affected the defense because that offense put so much pressure on the opposing team offense to score.

If I'm the Titans, in a ridiculous hypothetical, looking at Faulk an Freeney sitting there with my pick (like the actual guys), I think maybe I'm going with Faulk.

So Freeney was drafted to a Colts team that finished 4th in their division and turned around a defense to eventually win a SB in year five in Indy.

Faulk was drafted 2nd overall to a Colts team that also finished last in their div, missed the playoffs in 93 and were still a 3 win team in 97 & 98 while he was putting up video game numbers and then he went to the Rams to win.
