Titans Get The #4 Pick In The Draft

Love really does remind me a lot of Faulk. The recent comparison is Gibbs, but he doesn't run like Gibbs, who relies on speed to break angles. He runs like Faulk - patience, vision, and explosion to go with great hips.

Faulk had some Barry Sanders in him at the LOS, and I haven't seen that with Love cutting a ton before the LOS. He's more a LeVeon Bell type in that regard, but the vision and balance are there in spades, and more importantly is the smooth way he catches the ball in stride.

Comparing anyone to barry feels like a fools errand. Barry had more in common with goat simulator than other running backs. The laws of physics seemed to be broken around him and he left chaos in his wake.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

lol

Love is at least an elite pass catcher and 3 down RB.    I'm torn.    He'd be the best RB by a mile since Earl   Plus I'm already itching to turn on him

Which is why I compared him to a first ballot HOF player.

The Hate movement is officially underway.

Not sure PK is hating there is just a very real positional value hurdle to overcome, there is also a very real financial component to the discussion when the top of the EDGE/WR market is more than double than the top of the RB market.

I have no doubt it is a discussion Borgonzi and the rest of the Titans front office have had and will continue to have right up until their draft board is finally locked in place.

I'm not saying PK is hating, just that the overall vibe of will we/won't we draft Love seems like it has started to go more "won't" lately.

Would the financials steer them more toward Love or away? I remember the clip of Orlovsky arguing in favor of Love and the guy opposite was talking about Love's contract as a 4th overall pick being too much for a rookie and then they'll have to eventually pay him hia 2nd contract. He was arguing it as a negative.

Its such a strange situation as he has transformed his body down to 265lbs and would assume be in better athletic shape than the 275-280lbs he was reportedly at to start the season for Miami.

Bain is not a solidified top 5 pick who has the luxury of leaving a big question mark regards his athletic upside. The only reasonable conclusion you can come to is his testing would be bad enough to hurt his draft stock more than leaving a question mark would.

Yep- he’s the restrepo of dline

Its all about clicks and engagement.  Trend goes one way them “analysts” need to write the counter argument.  Then the trend will shift and someone will write the counter to the counter

ESPN Field Yates just released latest 2 round mock draft.

4. Tennessee Titans

Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

The Titans don't have a glaring need at pass rush after trading for Jermaine Johnson and signing John Franklin-Myers. But new coach Robert Saleh shouldn't mind more help at linebacker behind Johnson, Franklin-Myers and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons.

Styles has put together about as good of a final season and predraft process as you could ask for. He dominated on the field in 2025, finishing with the third-highest tackle percentage in the FBS (97.5%). Then at the combine, he posted the highest vertical jump by an off-ball linebacker since 2003 (43½ inches) and ran the fastest 40 at his position (4.46). Styles is instinctive and long at 6-foot-5, with the versatility to cover or blitz as a former safety.

35. Tennessee Titans

Keylan Rutledge, G, Georgia Tech

If your goal is to get tougher in this draft, good luck finding a player that fits that bill better than Rutledge. The physical, grading guard personified what was a hard-nosed, relentless program at Georgia Tech. Tennessee needs to continue to fortify the offensive line, especially as guard Kevin Zeitler's plans for 2026 remain undecided.

There was a time a year ago that I thought Bain would end up becoming a DT and excel at that position. But he put in so much work with Jason Taylor that he became elite coming off the edge with so much power.

Bain is relentless and is a leader on the field. He’s got the same mindset as Simmons. I understand those of you that are worried about the arm length because you haven’t seen all of his games. I have watched him from a true freshman get better and better and better.

These OT’s he beat in college are the same ones he will beat at the NFL level. He’s the outlier

A second contract, if there is one, for the #4 pick doesn't come into play for another 4-5 years.  Titans are in win now mode.

I keep going back to what Saleh said previously:  paraphrasing......can't expect Cam in his second year to carry the load alone.  He has to be supported.

Improving the defense is an indirect benefit to Cam.  He plays from behind less.  A high end RB is a direct benefit to Cam.  He's required to make fewer plays in the passing game.
