Dunno if thats a guy Saleh would want to use a pick on the first two days. Was it you that posted something on him giving up the most zone yardage in the league or something last year? Edit: nevermind that was Aussie I had never heard anything close to that and most sites i have seen have him rated him pretty consistently as one of the best coverage LBs draftable. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/stats/CD/LB/1/2026 Edited 15 hours ago by titanruss Callidus

IsntLifeFunny
I hadn't watched any of Rodriguez until just now. That guy is a football players and has the strength and speed to match. Hyper aware tracking RBs, has the Peanut Tillman punch out in spades, and if he wasn't great in zone coverage well he showed really soft hands for a LB. I bet the lapses in coverage were likely seam routes where even in Zone he is supposed to turn his hips and carry the TE. Obviously speculative, but you could see where he would stay locked in on the QB so it makes sense and doesn't seem terminal at all from the 10 or so minutes I watched. That guy is going to be a stud LB. titanruss, Callidus, and NashvilleNinja

So the titans have no playmakers on offense, Saleh has shown repeatedly he can turn mid to late round lb into stars.Lb is no more top 5 value than rb. Both Daboll and Saleh got fired for crappy offenses and you’d take the lb? Gotta be bait- bc your takes are consistently better than that BeedoeLaw
OILERMAN
A 3-down linebacker is generally considered more valuable than a running back in the modern NFL due to positional scarcity and impact on passing downs. Elite 3-down linebackers act as defensive "quarterbacks," covering tight ends, stopping the run, and rushing the passer, while running back talent is abundant, often replaceable, and faces higher injury rates

There are not an abundance of RBs who are impactful on passing downs, or have the speed of Love . Hyperion

Have you watched any film on the guy. He's an athletic freak for sure with potential through the roof and great intangibles but as a pure player he's like the 6th-8th best LB. He hits nothing like a 3 -down MLB that stops guys where they meet. He drags them. More of a chase guy. Very Keith Bulluck that can blitz. I like Styles, but this is what (slightly) worries me about him. He's not a no brainer like Kuechly coming out of the draft. It's a lot of projection because he's an athletic freak, but he doesn't have much experience actually playing LB. You're projecting him 2-3+ years down the line of what you think he will be. I'm with @headhunter- it's hard to justify anyone who doesn't stop edge rushers, score TDs, or rush the passer in the Top 10. There are maybe 5 or fewer good TEs in the league now.... Problem even fewer RBs who are receiving threats. Having someone who can cover these guys isn't a huge need now. He's not going to affect the QB, or cover the greatest receiving threats. So even if he's great, how impactful will he really be? If Derrick Henry could lineup wide and be a threat to defenses as a WR in addition to his home run ability, @OILERMANwould have a completely different opinion of him. No matter the position, Love has a rare and valuable skillset and will soon prove himself to be one of the best offensive players in the league. Elite 3-down linebackers act as defensive "quarterbacks," covering tight ends, stopping the run, and rushing the passer, while running back talent is abundant, often replaceable, and faces higher injury rates And "running back talent is abundant and replaceable" applies just as much to linebacker. Fred Warner was a 3rd rounder. Bobby Wagner was a 2nd rounder. Darius Leonard was a 2nd rounder. Roquan Smith went 8th and people debated whether even that was too high. The league finds quality three-down linebackers on day two constantly. How many Jeremiyah Loves are in this draft? One. How many linebacker/safety hybrids can you find in rounds 2-3? Multiple. If we're talking scarcity, Love is the scarcer asset in this specific class. But forget the positional value debate for a second. Which player is going to have a bigger impact on this team in 2026? We have a second-year QB who needs the offense built around him. Love transforms the entire offensive identity — run game, play action, receiving threat, taking pressure off Cam Ward every single snap. Styles is a solid defender who makes the defense incrementally better. One changes the trajectory of the franchise. The other is a nice piece. Someone wanting Styles at 4 is just crazy to me.
