Titans Get The #4 Pick In The Draft

The trade down scenario is interesting because the Titans are unlikely to pass on the 2 guys teams would most likely move up for in Bailey or Reese. Which is why it makes a ton of sense for Borgonzi to praise Love and Styles, Tate, etc... in effort to see if teams want to talk about coming up for them as well.

My personal opinion is that Borgonzi will take Bailey or Reese if they are there. I would be surprised if he took Love or Styles but wouldn't hate it. Same with Tate although I think #4 is too high for him.

Bailey and Reese are two completely different prospects.  Bailey is clearly someone who you run up to the podium to draft at #4.  But I don't buy that teams are falling over themselves to draft a 240 lbs edge project with little production or polish at the position.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

I don’t think teams are for an edge rusher who is bad against the run. Some will - but smart ones- imo - wont.  Reese at least projects to be a more complete DE/ OLB.

ill say again/ the last time saleh drafted someone like that he played 16% of the time.  Particularly in today’s nfl with its heavy rpo schemes

I find it hard to see a scenario outside of injury where Reese doesn’t get a second contract with whoever drafts him. Even if he fails as an edge (I don’t think he will), he’s arguably just as good of an off ball linebacker as Styles. He’s not like some of the other tweeners who were projections at multiple spots. You could

argue he might not end up being the best pick when we look back but I don’t consider that a bust. And the ceiling is unreal.

The rumors for Love I think should be taken seriously. It is already a bit odd to take a RB this high. But to trade up for one would be very very unusual. So I think when it seems like a team is leaning towards Love, it's probably legit.

They are also the most faceless team in the NFL.  Name a star player that you would go to see play on the Cards.  Even the Browns have Myles Garrett.

Add in that the owner and Love are from the same city (STL).
