We could have done that and still gotten Jackson Dart. I think Dart is kind of a douche and love Ward, but Dart is gonna be a good QB. You don't say no because you think you can get more unless you know that for a fact. If the other team doesnt budge you take the deal. Right. How ridiculous. Of course you try to get more - you don't just jump in their lap and take it. But if that's the final offer, hell yeah you do it. oldschool

I would agree if the top 10 were stacked, its not. Exactly. All you have to do is look at the 300 pages of this thread. There is likely no easy choice at 4. Even if Reese is there, he is a projection and a risk with a pretty big bust factor. Not saying I wouldn't take him, I'm just saying there is no one that will be there that knocks your socks off and is a no-brainer. Obviously. Just re-read this thread (or shoot yourself in the face - it would be less painful).

They got back from the Jags around 3,300 value points. 600 points in value Just for moving 3 spots down. But we're suppose to just go even Stevens and give up 10 more points of value for the privilege of moving completely out of range of the elite tier of players in this draft? Fuck the hell of that. If you don't want to draft a RB at 4, then yeah that's exactly what you do. Are you guys just worried about what people will think or something? I don't get it. What's the big fucking deal. That deal that is hypothesized is a fair deal in an underwhelming draft. japan

What are we even discussing? Lol That's the whole point man. This trade hypothetical assumes the two edge guys are gone. The very reason why, in that scenario, it is very unlikely the Cowboys try to trade up is the exact reason why you would take the trade if what we are talking about is the best they are willing to offer. So it's Love, Tate, Styles, or take that trade. In that case you take the damn trade. japan

It depends on how you see ths draft. If you see it as only having 1 or 2 bluechippers (which is why teams want to trade up)- then the picks are MORE valuable in a weak draft. If you think the top 4 are no more valuable than the rest, then its an easy trade. I think there are only 2 or 3 bluechip quality players in this draft- making it harder for the Titans to trade out. BUT if your evaluation is a blue chip player with lower positional value is worth less than a projected good player at a position of value- then sure. I would suggest taking players of average to good value over bluechip at any position is a good way to cap your team at 1 and done in teh playoffs... but that's just me. japan

headhunter
Both Spears and Pollards are in the last year of their contracts and so is Ridley. Add in a possible LT, the offense is so far away from the talent it needs, I'm afraid Cam is going to suffer for a bit more. titanruss
Legaltitan
BTW for the record I am perfectly fine if they stay at 4 and take Love, even under the proposed Cowboys trade. I personally would trade down, but Love would be an exciting pick. Pragidealist, and BeedoeLaw

Even the most staunch positional value guys are saying "I'm fine if they stick and take Love, he would be an exciting pick". It's hard to get away from what you truly believe. I get that. Not to mention you can't even move off of Moore's contract yet. It's not much worse than taking a RB with the #4 overall pick in 2026...
