Justafan
7 minutes ago, oldschool said: or the flip side is that Saleh routinely gets insane LB play out of guys taken lower in the draft like Warner and Bethune. So if you know thats the case why invest so heavily in LB early on when it can be used elsewhere? Kinda where I’m at with Styles. Great player. No doubt would thrive here…. But I trust this regime to find a LB probably more so than any other position. headhunter

Only 1 lb taken in the first round resigned with their team for a second contract in 10 years And I guarantee Amy will not sign off taking a LB over helping Cam paying that much money after what she's paid for defense in free agency Edited 5 hours ago by headhunter Justafan
titansfan
I dont know if Styles is a generational prospect... i think there is a lot of "I love the idea of Styles". Physically hes probably the best LB prospect we've seen, but he's in year two going on three as a LB, and there is good portion of games where it shows. Im not saying that to disparage Styles- I think his upside is incredible. I think i said Urlacher possibility but if you draft him at 4, you better get immediate returns as a LB You will get immediate returns from Love. Love would be the ROY favorite here. And as mentioned already, Saleh has never needed a highly drafted LB to get high play from his LBs. So hes either good at identifying them or developing them Edited 5 hours ago by titansfan DCTitan

headhunter
As soon as Bains arms measurements came I knew he was gonna fall. You can't take a high pick with that much risk and liability Edited 5 hours ago by headhunter Justafan, and bondra316v2
titansfan
Could a Love-Bain draft be possible???? Edited 5 hours ago by titansfan DCTitan, and titanskick8851 1
titansfan
Is 35 and 101 enough to get into the bottom of 1?

Love is great but he isnt the clear best prospect at his position in the last 10 years. Hes certainly a fantastic prospect but styles is the only true to the definition of the word, generational prospect. Who was the last LB near or equal to him on paper? Luke Kuechly? There have been a bunch of comparisons made of Styles to Fred Warner. They both started as Safety's in college before moving to ILB, combine stats are freakish and coverage skills are top tier. I'd rather draft Styles at 4 than a T-rex Edge or a RB. If Saleh thinks Styles can be a Titans version of Warner then I'm all in.
Grizz
Yeah, Bain does make sense. I was talking with someone who said that fans are focused on Bain's natty run while evaluators are looking at tape over the entirety of his career, where he would disappear at times and are going to really dig into all of that because he is an outlier. Could end up with Bain going to a great program which will maximize his value. TerryBoats
titansfan
I also think James Williams has a lot of fans in Tennessee. I think many are discounting him as a possible starter. He's got the same background as Styles BeedoeLaw, Callidus, and titanskick8851

He looks like an All-Pro OLB, had he not been cursed with those stumps.
OnsideKick
UConn WR Skyler Bell Extremely fluid athlete, production profile is all there, inside/out versatility, tough, and a guy that just makes everything look smooth & easy at all three levels. He’s going to end up closer to the late Day 1 Cooper & Concepcion bucket for me rather than likely Day 2 locks in Branch, Williams & Burks among guys 6’0” or smaller. Really good ballplayer. titanruss, FRT, and TerryBoats
