New Orleans is actually not a bad team.  They swept the Panthers, won in Tampa.  Granted those aren’t world beaters but they’re probably better at this point than their record would indicate.

6 wins and won 4 in a row. Seems pretty accurate.

We have seen this game so many times over the last 3 years put themselves in a winning position and then eventually lack of talent lets them down.   Mentioned it during the week it is absolu

Wtf are you talking about? Ward was great for 3 quarters. His protection fell apart in the 4th and he held the ball too long while waiting for his scrub WRs to uncover.

Seems like total BS as if Carthon would be checking his phone while he is busy playing candy crush.

Of course but the offense was damn good the first 7 or 8 drives. They fell apart in the 4th quarter.

McCoy was coaching like he actually believed we have a defense.

I think who ever wins the giants/raiders game today, you also want to win in the last week and get to 4 wins.  Giants play cowboys in week 18 and raiders play at home vs Chiefs,  I'd say Raiders have best chance to get the 4th win.

No guarantee either the Raiders or Giants win out both teams have sat so many starters and are horrific.

Give me the guarantee of the SOS tiebreaker of the Cardinals first anything else is gravy at this point.

If the Titans lose next week what's the lowest they can draft?

Correction. Ward is special. Things to clean up? Absolutely. Consistency with the deep ball. Understanding end of game situations, for sure. He has shown to make some incredible plays, though. And he is playing night and day better than the start of the season.

I keep thinking back to Mahomes rookie season. Dude didn't have to do shit but just sit back and watch/learn from the bench.

Let's give Borgonzi as much ammo as he can possibly carry and let him build up a team around Cam and let's see what he does in season 2 with a better support staff and a better team.

This team hasn't got the luxury of passing on the better player if its EDGE great if its a WR equally great.

All I'm doing is pointing out the complete nonsense coming from people completely ruling out the possibility of taking the WR.

Especially because the secondary can be improved so dramatically with some reasonable FA’s. They traded away their 2 best corners, albeit not great. Woods has been hurt & he played well. Harris gets hurt, etc. It’s a fairly simple fix to improve to at least half decent.

What we can’t have is Ward having nothing to throw to again. It wears QB’s down big time.

It’s too early to bitch too much about specific draft scenarios and players, imo.  That said, when you grade your team and stack up positional valuations, the WR talent deficit stands out as much as any room. Sure, there’s potential, but the biggest fallacy is overrating in-house talent. The Titans need raw receiver talent to grow with Ward, asap.

Assuming no tie in the raiders/giants game, after today there will be 1 team with 2 wins and 4 teams with 3 wins (Titans one of them). So I'd assume 5th is worst case.

All he needed to do was step up in the pocket and allow the rush to continue going around him.

He held the ball way too long today.

Just think its easy to say that when he has extended plays just that the last couple weeks leading to huge plays. Its nit picking. Please when appropriate bail out the back and make huge plays like few QBs are capable of. But.....when you cant make that elite play climb in the pocket that very well may collapse into a sack. If it does turn into a sack, ill critique you for stepping up into a sack.

And it looks like the Jags need to win next week to clinch the division

Lawrence is going to light up this secondary would be an enormous shock if the Titans won next week.

The bigger interest next week is whether the Jets/Cardinals/Raiders can win against what is likely to be significantly understrength opponents (in the Raiders case it only matters if they win today).

Edge and CB is by far the least talented positional groups
