So unless the colts want to go with AR as their starter, then they will need to sign another scrub backup Qb to start in March. Then during the 2026 season when Jones returns, they will need to make a big financial decision on his future base on probably 1/2 to 2/3 of a season. Colts also have 6 other starters, including A. Either way he's not going to be taking another snap, I think that's clear. I would assume if he wanted to he could still be playing right now, in the Flacco role. Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins, both drafted in the same year, are still playing. He certainly could be too. He just doesn't want to go through it unless he's a guarantee starter.
