Just the subjective ones graded by literal college kids.

Almost everything in football is subjective. Yards gained is subjective in the sense the refs decide where the ball gets placed.

You just hate anything and everything pff which is fine, but the stats are not made up no matter how much you want them to be.

There is a reasons teams pay for pffs stats while openly mocking the grades.

Well they are made up stats when they are more heavily subjective than say... actual recorded yardage. They arent the same. It's not subjective on pass attempts. Yardage gained is inches subjective... whether a ball is catchable or not is highly subjective, also inches and needs several view points and measurements and requires them to know what the receiver is supposed to be doing.  There's locality to the refs being closer and in game stats guys being there watching live and later with all-22. There's quality of the eye's and training involved....

...and then there's what PFF does with swaths of actual college kids that are likely 50% hammered and/oror haven't slept, have biases, completing annoying work assignments to scrape some extra cash. Those grades are randomly checked (supposedly) and almost never adjusted and they are based off of live game film and not all-22.  So yeah, when you watch a game and are like "holy shit wtf was that pass" then you see the all 22 and realize it was on the money or actually a heavily pressured, possibly tipped throw, or a receiver stumbled after the throw - then you begin to understand that they cant be trusted.  You've watched more tape than these kids and no more football than them.

If they did it the right way, it would be different. But they don't, they prioritize speed over accuracy and assume that it will all balance out in the end - which there is no proof that it does. Their grades and stats are very much interconnected and certainly a more often highly graded player will get much more leeway with stats - and vice versa.

Fake it till you make it as a business model. Now that they've made it, it's become "don't look behind the curtain!"

And FWIW, I dont hate everything PFF. I just hate absolutes in their messaging based on extreme high levels of situation ignorance and high levels of subjectivity  - viewed from the version of the tape that fools your eyes probably half the time.

I don’t think anyone is surprised that Cam was too high on the uncatchable throws side of the chart but as long as he can work on his mechanics this offseason it should continue to improve

How many uncatchable balls are great wr catches?

Browns media just watched CJ Stroud yesterday and are talking about trading(a 1st) for Stroud!

LOL

What happened to all the sanders love over there?

Being a 1st round pick better than sanders still doesn't get you much apparently.

Its like being a foot taller for your average dude would make you pretty damn tall. Being a foot taller than mini me, not so much.

Ironically it would be the least stupid QB decision they've made in years...albeit still stupid.

Stroud was just another in a long line of recent rookie QBs that people thought were Jesus after 1 season. it's so dumb crowning these guys so fast.

His career will be fine but not great.

He also has no RBs worth shit amd his top 2- pass catchers from years back are not out there.

Great receivers are still so vastly underrated .

The funny part about the whole situation is they had a guy in the building keeping him on track, then traded or cut the whole offensive line and fired the guy holding him accountable.

I was a big stroud guy coming out and Im not trying to defend him, just saying its wild how bad they managed all of it since his rookie year.
