But there's a large population of black fans that see him as famous black man, the son of a black icon, trying to live differently and see the white owners/coches/FO as keeping him down because they don't want a black guy leading their team that doesn't fall in line. It's stupid, but people rarely turn their brains on in racially connected discussions. It's too personal. What the real tragedy is, they don't see it being led by Deion and Shadeur themselves to help the kid stay relevant. They are race baiting in order to manipulate people to get an emotional argument out of them... and when you feel and fight racism your whole life, your brain turns off at the first hint of it. So instead of being mad at the true instigators, they are up in arms from yet another manufactured controversy. Not all black people, no, but even Ramon Foster was buying into the retardedness.
