Even if they are not going to be very realistic till you get right up to the draft it helps you familiarize yourself with the class, be it the players themselves or roughly where they will go. I do it because it helps me familiarize myself with players who I've never seen play or paid attention to. It definitely helps see what MIGHT be available at a macro level. Of course that gets more accurate with more info but we're all just speculating on a MB anyways The most informative part is how many players at the position might be ranked high enough for a given draft position. For example, if you get to round 2 and there are no tackles within 20 ranks of the top, that means it's a shit draft for tackles. If there are 10 corners there near the top, it's a deep corner draft. It’s such a small sample. These teams are throwing away one of the few chances they get to test themselves. They aren’t going to grow together missing out on games like this.
