Necessity is the mother of invention and desperation can lead to wildly good or bad results. Being cookie cutter when everything is going wrong is just about the last thing that is going to fix anything. 

 

I would go so far as to say you are almost advocating for the robinski method. 

You seem to be advocating giving different players a shot rather than stick with what hasn't been working.  The coaches are doing that (Kinsey and Proche).  They just aren't playing your guy.

You know what you have in a cookie cutter. It makes the same thing every time. We know what kinsey is we know what proche is. That is why you play guys who you dont know what you have when all os lost.

The coaches see and know what XR is and isn't.  You just don't want to admit it.  He's the worst WR on the practice squad.

The comical part is that posters seem not to realize that for a bottom of the depth chart WR you have to basically be flexible and contribute in different ways.  
 

You have to be able to play multiple WR spots .  And B) be able to play and contribute on ST?  Guess which bottom of the depth chart doesn’t do any of these things?

 

And he’s a slot only WR which means we can line up other positional players there:  TE, RB etc.  it isn’t a spot solely reserved for a slow ass short WR.

It's been posted mutiple times about his lack of ST play and limited to the slot only.  I thing they realize it.  But they don't have an answer so they ignore it.

Then why waste a practice squad slot? If we are going to so far as to say he has absolutely zero value, why not churn that roster spot if they are so smart?

The brow beating is hilarious. So what if some people want to see a guy who has a connection with Ward when the team is dog shit? Him not getting elevated is because he doesn't play STs. We got it. Doesn't mean some people don't want to see him get some reps on offense.

The longer it goes without him being elevated the more it's going to be a dick in their eye if, when he does get the opportunity, he makes them look like god damn morons for protesting so much.

 

So it's all-in on the doubling down and appealing to authority. The coaching staff that is on their way out is the apron they're condescending from behind. They should just stick to the 40 time. At least the 40 time can't be fired and be revealed to be completely incompetent, even if it turns out to be a faulty indicator.

We'll see what happens in the future..  TBD.  But for now the dick in the eye is both Proche and Kinsey elevated over XR.

Regardless of anything, the appeal to authority is unnecessary when all we are saying is it's worth a shot. Hey, if the coaches disagree well whatever, but to act like it's some ridiculous stance is funny. No one is overly concerned about XR getting snaps. Saying we are at a point in the season where fuck it give it a try isn't the same as they're making it out to be.

Ackshually, the dick in the eye is the continued inconsistencies from all the receivers they keep trotting out there. But that's a dick in everybody's eye.
