If she didn't back the hire, you'd be calling here meddlesome for that! Bottom line is she has made some poor decisions in who she hired to run the football org but this idea she's out here being mercurial and firing people who don't deserve it is crazy talk. like @ctm said and I've said many times as well, When you are in leadership and lose confidence in someone who you selected to lead a large portion of the org, its almost always better to move on at that point than let it fester. Thngs very rarely turn around at that point Lastly, lets be real where all this bullshit is coming from. its the perception that she fired a great HC in Vrabel without cause and that he was the only reason the Titans were relevant. Its a complete Fabrication/misconception of what transpired here. She's become the laughing stock of the league... The other stuff, more arguable. Not if the speculation about him making top level org decisions without informing here or talking down to her like she was just a dumb owner signing the checks. tgo
AvgJoe
Regarding Brinker: A lot of us have wished for the days of Jeff Diamond and him being the decider between Reese and Fisher if they disagreed. It was our best stretch of football in TN and it went to shit when Diamond left. You realize Brinker is Jeff Diamond, right? oldschool, tgo, ChesterCopperpot1, and 1 other

She re-signed him a few months earlier. If you thought his drafts factored in, why did she re-sign him?

I'm not sure whether Brinker will prove to be the right guy or not, but I think he has the exact skillset/experience needed for his role. The structure is 100% optimal. President of Football Ops>GM>Head Coach - straightforward, clear, optimal command structure. oldschool, and AvgJoe

oldschool
The one knock on AAS other than she has made some mistakes who she hired is that she extended Jrob a few months before she fired him but of course, there could have easily been something that transpired in those months that changed the dynamic. We don't know AAS is an average owner as far as owners go. I get you guys and the media want to blame her for the state of the Titans but I'm old enough to remember a true meddler in Bud and lived the Skins Snyder regime every day for 20+ years. You guys don't know what a bad owner is tgo, and rns90

Those two have to be separated. One is a fact, the other is a poorly sourced report from McCormick who is notorious for being late and inaccurate. I'll need more before I give that report credence. But like I said up thread, if true that would suck. IsntLifeFunny
