What will the copium be when they hire Nagy? Trust in Don Borgleone?

Disappointment and acceptance, if a person is rational with an open mind. I wouldn't call that "copium" though.

My thoughts.   I post infrequently nowadays but do want to do so tonight.  I have vacillated with each new entry into the HC/OC sweepstakes.  I studied what I could with available data on ea

FWIW on F Words Zach Lyons just said he heard the interview between McDaniel and the Titans went “very well”.

Its reported they've talked and that harbaugh is figuing out who he will interview with. So.. have they requested? It would seem so.... but nothing scheduled.

Yeah. From what I saw, It was reported we likely had a preliminary phone call.

They can.  In my professional life, I've seen a drop in sharpness in colleagues around in 70.   And I think the original plan (bfore BC flamed out)- was a young, smart, long term coach.  Has that totally changed with Borgonzi or is that still underlying a preference (but maybe not a requirement)?

I could see him being a high valued target bc of who he is .. but not being their ideal target to their preferred requirements.

7 years is an eternity in the NFL. Every coach you hire you hope is there for 10+ years but sadly it doesn't work that way.

I think they didn’t anticipate all these other firings and these experienced head coaches suddenly becoming available as well.

Borgonzi also has to show progress next year in wins and losses , he’s in no danger of getting fired but another 3-5 season in 2026 could put him on a semi hot seat for 2027.  And they need to need to reinvigorate the fanbase.  Harbaugh and McCarthy are good locks to at least get them to 8-9 wins and they have a new stadium . Those are off field issues that Borgonzi has to keep in mind.

Harbaugh will be the most impressive scalp on Amy's wall!

I really don’t think it’s likely but she is an Adams . And we have seen them more than once torpedo planned offseasons by chasing or trading (like Bud personally getting into Moon trade negotiations ) players/coaches

This is the Green Bay model now. Coaches and players come and go. The front office is the engine. Fully expect they will continue to underpay the coaching staff relative to the rest of the league while now paying the front office well.

While I agree I think we took want to establish a culture and system of developing good coaches. That would mitigate the worry of fall off if a top coordinator leaves. Many front offices see that as a great thing if teams constantly desire their coaches

She is involved. They're going to decide on the top candidate(s) and take them to her.

Obviously she signs off on it. I mean potentially making the choice on her own

(I don’t think she will. It was a shit post. You need to make that clear around here sometimes)
