This is a direct counter to what @OILERMAN posted though. Because if you are what your record says you are then Garrett should be a top tier candidate as should McCarthy. They aren't.

I mean, the guy is a good coach.  Proven.  Of course you would want him as a possibility.  I don't think he would want to come here however.

But Harbaugh was also part of one of the best run originations in the league stacked with talent and has more recently had the two time MVP at QB(should have been 3 times MVP). 

 

Talent/QB way more important than head coach

 

The Ravens have only won multiple playoff games in a year twice under Harbaugh... 2008 when they upset the #1 seed Titans and 2012 when they won the Superbowl.

I’ve been saying for months I think it’s the other way around lol Brinker was there when it ended for McCarthy. There was a lot of negative reports about him after he was gone. Like how he skipped meetings to get massages and what not.

My opinion on Harbaugh is I'd think he'd want to go to the NFC to be in the opposite conference of his brother.

Just my personal thoughts:

 

1) I don’t think it’s a bad thing Stefanski meets with NY before coming here. He will already know the lay of the land at the other job he is most closely attached to and if he’s a fit here, then things can speed up. Sometimes it’s better to have the later meeting AND there is no way NY has met the Rooney Rule yet. 
 

2) Hafley or Shula, one of them is in the high tier rankings for Borgonzi and I bet it’s Hafley with his prior HC experience. 
 

3) Some of these interviews are coordinator interviews like Morris IMO

Huh? Did you watch them this year? They had Daniels for 4 games, McLaurin missed half the season, Brown the whole season, and Deebo had a heel injury that impacted him all year. and yet they were still 4th in rushing and put up points with Mariota.

I would think Arizona is second to last, just in front of Cleveland, for desirable open jobs.  Maybe Arizona is more desirable than Las Vegas but the Raiders have the #1 pick and a ton of cap space.
