titanruss
Speaking of Brownlee.... Jarvis Brownlee finished as PFF’s second-highest graded CB in Week 6 (90.4). Brownlee led the #Jets with 6 solo tackles, had 2 run stops, and allowed 5 catches but only for 22 yards. Long of 7 yards. His 90.4 coverage grade (yes, same as overall grade) also ranked 2nd best among all CBs. Doesn’t even account for the energy, intensity, and physicality he brought to the Jets defense. Needs to be the starting nickel CB moving forward. titanskick8851, japan, and Supernope 2

Latham needs to show over these next 11 games he can be counted on to be the RTOTF or he might be destined to be moved inside to RG. Not sure if it is accurate but saw somewhere today that he was credited with 3 sacks and 5 pressures against the Raiders. Crosby abused him all game

titansfan
Simmons, Ward, Sko are the only safe ones. On the bubble of safe: Latham (for now), Ayomanor, Dike, Helm, Gray, Hooker, and Winston Edited October 15, 2025 by titansfan
AvgJoe
Zeitler (play Slater), McCreary, Chig, Jihad Ward, DreMont Jones, and Arden Key at the least need to have a new home after the deadline. I do wonder if Jihad Ward could be a sneaky cheap extension for us rns90, titanskick8851, and DCTitan

He is 31, though, and the smart move is probably to keep him year-to-year or hope for a comp pick if he walks. Starkiller, and DCTitan

Give those snaps to Femi (when he returns), Gaye, Harrell, Ravenell, and whoever else you want to call up or sign off of someone else's practice squad. AussieTitanFan08
Couple of Titans mentions in this ESPN Fowler/Graziano column today Fowler: The Titans were already poised to be active at the trade deadline, and the Callahan firing only expedites that process. They know they need draft capital to rebuild the roster. Edge rusher Arden Key, cornerback Roger McCreary and tight end Chig Okonkwo are among players on my radar. There could be more. But those three are 2026 free agents and do not appear in the long-term vision of the franchise. And the plan right now is to keep defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. He's unquestionably the Titans' best player and turns 28 in July. But Tennessee needs to find a way to make the job more attractive from a roster standpoint. Ward and Simmons are not enough. The team currently has seven picks in the 2026 draft and would like to add more. Fowler also mentions that he expects the 49ers to check in on the price for Arden Key among a group of other pass rushers they will be looking at. Sweat just coming off IR probably makes him untradable in season.
