Jarvis landry was the worst ras score wr I thinm to make it. Again, this isnt about if he will be good or not. Its about why not just try him out if we have nothing to lose? Even if things somehow were activly worse and restrepo fumbled away 3 balls or something. Atleast we would get a good laugh out of it.

Not a single person on here has said turtle man will even be good if they use him but you have been on some weird tangent about how no1 wants him or would want him and using him would be stupid because circular logic even though he is on our roster which seems strange for a guy no1 wants when you have limited roster space and you could you know have another guy on your practice squad but why would you even put people on your practice squad because no1 wants any of them because none of them are worth anything or else they would be on an active roster and bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. Thats what you sound like right now. No, you said it would be hyperbolic to say that a practice squad player couldn't make a roster and find success, not that you were being hyperbolic to match me... It also has little to nothing to do with what we've been talking about with Restrepo and is a red herring argument more than anything else.

Your right, i didnt explicitly say i was going to go over the top because of how you were imo. The actual point of why not still stands.
nine
As I recall, Restrepo looked reasonably solid in the second half of preseason games....but I don't recall him taking over any games or making any plays that were particularly explosive or noteworthy. Do we think he'd fare better against starting NFL DBs than he did against 3rd/4th stringers and UDFAs? Justafan

He didn't "take over" any game, but he did have the 13 yard reception where he juked the defender and picked up the 1st down. The next play was a rushing touchdown. That was against the Falcons. Against the Vikings he had a tough catch while getting hit by two defenders and had another potential catch knocked away because the QB was late getting him the ball. He just wasn't given much opportunity otherwise so it's a really small sample size. But he has the reputation of catching just about anything thrown his way. NashvilleNinja
The one possible downside of having him out there, at least right now with Cam pressing as much as he has been, is if Ward has him to throw to he might revert even more back to playing college ball and starting telegraphing where he's going with the ball. But that's a small worry. I think Ward would be cognizant enough to snap out of that if he started to do that. Regardless of who they have at receiver, there are things they need to stop doing. Cutting back on the screens would be a damn good place to start. DCTitan

titanruss
There's 1000's of UDFA and practice squad guys that contributed when added to the gameday roster. What the fuck are ya'll even arguing about? No one put Restrepo in the HOF yet. Titandan, Callidus, and NashvilleNinja

We all (who are for his elevation) are just wanting to see what's what. Lockett is probably going to retire after this season, Ridley is possibly going to be cut, and who tf cares about all the other also-rans that are on the 53 man or practice squad? The only receivers I give a shit about seeing develop are Ayo, Dike, and Restrepo, if given the opportunity. The team is 1-5, is in all liklihood headed for another top 5 pick, and has pretty much seen what the rest of the group has to offer. Go ahead and empty the chamber. What're you afraid of? That Restrepo will come in and light shit up and actually make you look like a fucking moron for being so hung up on a 40 yard dash time and drill score? There are worse tragedies in life. Thier argument is that the coaches are too smart and know he's too terrible to be on a team.... and that almost no one in his position makes it to the HOF? While at the same time talking shit about how dumb our coaches are and not realizing that he already IS on the team... and that no one is arguing he will be a HOFer. I really dont get their point at all. I think it's basically just and emotional outburst from the same regulars who like to come here to start fights because of shit at home. Anyhhow, it looks to nearly be over after they realized that there have literally been 1000's of players that were on practice squads that played in games.
