Legaltitan Posted February 5 Report Share Posted February 5 I would really like it if our new uniforms are not like something an arena league team would wear. The originals were already a bit that way, but people got used to them and they were fine. The latest iteration is hideous and ridiculous, from the different colors and stupid sword to the goofy and tacky font for the numbers. All things considered, you really can't go wrong by keeping it simple and clean. There's plenty of counter examples, but usually the best unis keep it clean and simple. I always liked the flaming thumbtack on the helmet. I'm fine with a sword redesign as the "T" emulating the Oilers logo. Makes nostalgia sense. But I agree with whoever earlier said we aren't the Oilers.
