That should seriously end a presidency, I'm not kidding   How stupid would you have to be to be a minority, lets just say Asian, and support this racist?

Trump is genuinely an idiot running the country. Like an extremely low IQ individual. Bush was dumb in his ways but this is another level. Fascinating to watch him with even less guard rails

The investigations are the point, they don't care about charges or indictments. The media talked about the Hillary and Hunter stuff for years. Over and over.

The Republicans would over promise on witness testimony and when the witnesses flopped or said they exact opposite it barely cracked the news.

It’s all about political theater and  grandstanding.   Concepts like truth, reality, and demonstrable proof  are completely irrelevant….unless it happens to support the narrative.

At the end of the day,  people believe whatever they choose or want to believe and embrace it as their reality….while discrediting or willfully disregarding any information that doesn’t align with their version of “the truth”.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is now back on U.S. soil — but this time in handcuffs,  and is set to face federal charges for human smuggling and conspiracy.

Hahahaha!   The left’s celebrity dope could have accepted deportation and been a free man.   Now he will be put away for a long time.

We got what we demanded, which is due process under the law instead of Trump being able to just grab him off the street and whisked away to a foreign concentration camp.

BTW he’ll be tried in Nashville.

Had Garcia been afforded due process 2-3 months ago, he could have already had a quick hearing and been deported and it’s a complete non-story.

But instead,  the federal government paid to have him extradited back to the US to stand trial.  Now they’re paying the cost of a criminal trial and the cost of keeping him incarcerated until the trial’s conclusion, after which he’ll almost certainly be deported.

These additional expenses could have been easily avoided.  All the  government had to do was follow the United States’  long-established legal processes and procedures in the first place.

But instead, the administration chose to thumb their nose at the law, the Constitution, and the judicial system.   Now they’re having to pay twice to have the guy deported.

And of course, Trump supporters have convinced themselves that this is WINNING.

Don't forget the cost of an appeal, should he be convicted, and the cost of him being held in a BOP facility.

I've represented plenty of clients here illegally on appeal and at trial in Texas, and those that received lengthy prison sentences are still in the custody of TDCJ until they finish that sentence or get paroled. Only afterwards, will they then face deportation proceedings.

Perhaps.

But this assumes the administration will respect Garcia’s right to file an appeal….which is highly unlikely, based on their past handling of such matters.

The minute they have a conviction, they’ll have him on the next flight out of the country so they can once again loudly proclaim a WIN for deporting a convicted criminal who was here illegally.

As far as the constitutional right to due process and his right to an appeal…

Fuck you, fuck the law, and fuck the Constitution.  We do as we like….and you won’t do shit about it.”

And they’re right.  The only people who can actually do anything are Congress and the DOJ, who not only won’t do shit…they’re fully complicit and do whatever Trump tells them to do.

God-DAMN, it’s good to be King!

You dumbass, we don't care about Garcia, we care about due process.   Forest for the trees.

And it works to electrify the base in a way that wouldn't work if Democrats mirrored it. Democrat voters actually care about truth enough to get annoyed by the disingenuous falseness of it.

There weren’t any burning cars or massive protests during the Biden administration.  Trump causes civil unrest.  Whatever is going on in LA, Trump caused it.  Just like he caused the BLM protests.  Just like he caused the Capitol riots.  He’s a demagogue.

Republican voters choose lawlessness over and over again.
