And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

I think Ward is absolutely a better NFL prospect than Williams. Williams was anointed as the presumptive QB1 after his Heisman year which caused people overlook the red flags that emerged the following season. It's why you can't predict a year in advance which QBs will emerge as top prospects and which ones will falter. Daniels clearly should have been the #1 pick over Williams, but once people make up their mind it's very hard to convince them to change it.

Ward and Williams actually are pretty similar as prospects.   Williams had the edge due to multiple years of success and he's the more accurate passer of the two.  Ward however seems to have an edge in pre-snap coverage recognition.

Daniels is way better than either of them when you factor in his size and speed as a dual threat type on top of his accuracy, processing, etc.

PFF lol...

look at what the skins are doing with the OL if you want proof they know they needed to address it. Went out and spent big on Tunsil and are sliding Coleman inside to OG. I wonder why.

Because Sam Cosmi tore his ACL and will miss most, if not all, of the 2025 season. So Coleman will move inside to guard to replace him and they added Pro Bowler Tunsil. This is pointless arguing with you because I’m right and you’re wrong 😂

Daniels had an excellent offensive line in Washington while Williams had one of the worst in Chicago. Not to take too much away from Daniel’s, but it’s much easier to look more comfortable in the pocket with good protection.

Mariota excelled in the same circumstances as Daniels.  He was definitely in a good situation relative to most rookie QBs.

Chicago put things on an even playing field with their OL and HC changes.  We'll have a better idea of how the two compare this year.

As far as missing prospects, I didn't really watch much of Jayden Daniels. I knew he was easily the second best prospect by a wide margin over Maye, but I definitely didn't see that level of play coming out. He looked like a ten year vet back there and it wasn't a gimmicky type offense.

He was impressive. I didn't watch much film on last years qb class. But I did see some of his games throughout the year.  Liked him in what I saw. Never really bought the hype on Williams. If any of this year's class could be a fraction of Daniels that'd be great, but unlikely.  The league needs good young QBs as qb play league wide is at a low point vs the past 2 decades imo.

I repsect that some of you see more in Ward then I do, but Williams was a bust for me last and I still think he'll suck in Chicago.  I loved Daniels and Penix last yr and still feel both will do well.  The QB I like this year is Dart.  Not a fan of Sanders or Ward.  I think both guys are way over hyped prospects.  Of the two I like Ward better but I think Dart has a chance to be special.  He reminds me of Jim Kelly except with better tools.

Yeah that Washington OL efficiency is way more predicated on Daniels and Kingsbury than the talent they had. I still fully expect that offense to take a step back. I refuse to believe Kingsbury just became a completely different guy as a play designer and caller lol but maybe Murray really was just that much more an inhibitor

He focused. This shit happens when a good DC or OC becomes HC then gets demoted.

Incorrect.  I've told you everytime it doesn't matter. That is an answer. 2025 is a throw away year. Ward isn't the answer. Neither are any QBs available.  No QB is going to make them a winner this year.

Collect draft capital to build the roster so when one is available you have the resources to trade up and have holes filled over the roster. You don't draft a qb just to draft a QB because you have the top pick.  You're just extending QB purgatory that way.

As methodical as they've been so far you think they'd be drafting Ward "just to fill" QB? You are just projecting your opinions of Ward onto the Titans draft board. They just might not agree with your assessment oc him.

Also, it doesn't matter how many draft picks you waive in front of someone's face, if they like the QB enough to draft them they will turn down your offer.... unless you're suggesting the Titans do next year what you're hoping the Giants will do this year.

If the Titans are sold on Ward then it probably won't matter how many picks the Giants waive in their face.

I honestly think they're just throwing shade on the Titans. If a bigger market had the opportunity, the glazing would be incessant

The view of the draft class and QB's has nothing to do with the Titans.

The inferiority complex some of you guys have is hilarious.

My inferiority complex doesn't make the production team go to commercial during our pick or completely forget to include Titans players or the team on lists.

100% this. It's hilarious now that AJ and Henry are on different teams, people say how did you let them go? When they were here, nobody gave this team respect. Until the Titans win a Super Bowl, they'll never be viewed seriously.

The NFL media views the Titans as content filler and I totally believe if Ward was headed to a big market/historically relevant  team then they hype would be through the roof.

Williams is far more risk averse.  6 INTs to 68 sacks is very Mariota-esque.  He obviously couldn't buy himself time to find clean throw like he did in college.

Ward has much larger nuts.  He isn't afraid to fit the ball into narrow openings, or throw before he sees the receiver open.  Scrambling seems to be opportunistic or as a means of keeping the play alive for him, as opposed to a crutch like it is for Williams.

Drafting Ward is drafting a QB just because you need one.

I'm not projecting anything onto their draft board. That's nonsense. None of us know how their draft board is setup.
