Anyone care to explain why Brinker is so magical and none of this bullshit is put on him?

Context is needed.  Going into the season, the fair/reasonable expectation was a record similar to last year but with growth/improvement shown on offense, defense, and ST to where one could expect a p

Stellar is a bit aggressive.

assuming we don't draft the qb this year (and I don't think we will), then Levis might be the backup to a vet.  I think Cally wants to build up several qb's , unless some team offers to take him in a trade back or something..who knows

No way is he back. Once you benched him it was over. They’ll try and trade him just as other teams have done with QBs that they have decided are not starting material for them anymore.

Look at trades of Sam Howell, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Mac Jones, etc last off season. It’ll be some sort of pick swap or late round pick.

I could be totally wrong here, but when the decision to trade Willis was made, the corresponding decision was to go head first and run the Callahan offense, not a play action, single read offense, which Willis could run.. that was a move to begin the transition to a totally different style of offense.. admittedly that didn't go very well, except that a lot of experience was gained by the offensive line, receivers and TE's, and Rudolph. My point is that Callahan could have run a different offense, but in the interest of the future stuck with it.. we don't know the constraints of the dollars needed to get a right tackle, or if there was one available that was worth the investment, but that decision rests with Carthon it seems..

I don’t think Willis factored into any decisions.  Getting him out of town was a day 1 objective for the Callahan regime…
