assuming we don't draft the qb this year (and I don't think we will), then Levis might be the backup to a vet.  I think Cally wants to build up several qb's , unless some team offers to take him in a trade back or something..who knows

Now that isn't a terrible idea. I still think he could be a good HC in the right situation.

No way is he back. Once you benched him it was over. They’ll try and trade him just as other teams have done with QBs that they have decided are not starting material for them anymore.

 

Look at trades of Sam Howell, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Mac Jones, etc last off season. It’ll be some sort of pick swap or late round pick.

I don’t think Willis factored into any decisions.  Getting him out of town was a day 1 objective for the Callahan regime…
