I don’t necessarily dislike you.  You seem to mean well and generally stand behind what you post, even if I disagree with it.  Very seldom do your posts seem trollish or begrudging, unless it’s against someone like Bud who you’ve obviously got beef with.   Yet…every so often you do things like this.  Specifically with me. 
 

Let me set the table.  
 

Years ago in a thread I don’t even remember what about somehow took a racial turn and I posted a joke comment where I clipped a South Park snippet that made you convinced I was racist.  A years old video that was shared plenty before I posted it and plenty after and even prior to that was basically universally accepted as a normal response to racial commentary.  It was old hat and a lazy layup for cheap “lols” basically akin to “that’s what she said!” Yet you took it as some egregious take, got super offended, and painted me in a shitty light to which the board as a whole had to shut down your racism implications towards me and yet going forward you have always seemed to have a problem with me like someday you were going to serve some inevitable gotcha to warrant your ridiculous take from years ago.  I’m not dumb.  I remember things.  

 

Given your propensity to get overly offended in all things even remotely pertaining to racial relations yet simultaneously making almost any and everything discussable about race,  I’ve largely ignored engaging with you.  Again, part of it is because I don’t dislike you and often outright ignore some of the more questionable things you post or imply.  You’re a veteran poster here.  We don’t have to love each other or exchange roses.  But I admire your dedication to this forum and I appreciate your contributions over the years.  I have no desire to eviscerate you intellectually.  You’ve never directly pushed me to that.  You might’ve come close, but I chalked it off as you being overly sensitive in regards to racial conversation like maybe you had drawn the short-straw and had experienced some really fucked up shit that greatly influenced your world-view  (or maybe you’d never seen South Park and didn’t get the joke).  I have/had sympathy for that potential misunderstanding.  But here’s the catch.  
 

I’m obviously a petty son of a bitch.  And you’ve already, in my opinion, crossed a line with me years ago by calling me racist.  I let that go, granted begrudgingly, and have never went full-bore on you.  There’s plenty of ammo.  But, my kinder side has always let it be.  This random tagging and 6 month old quote reposting to try to force some engagement from me?   Again, I’m not wasting my time right now.  But maybe in the future tread lightly

My bad.  I only posted in this thread because you started the great victory celebration.  It is 104pg long. I have made how many comments?  Two or maybe three.  Your reply is a war and peace post about me.

 

I don't think I posted anything racially hostile in my reply.  I made one post with a YT about Vance calling the Chinese people peasants.  The other was about Harvard.  Maybe you got confused because neither of those posts are about race.
