They're eventually detained and deported by ICE. Shortly after being deported back to Guatemala, they disappear. Their bodies are later found in a field...bound and gagged and badly beaten before being shot to death. Their 14-month old child is found next to them...alive but badly dehydrated after being left to die by their killers. So much for escaping the violence of their home country. US War on Poverty. Pollution Controls. FDA. Clean Water. Go look and see on your own. Heart to Heart. We are a great people, good hearted as you will find. I know people and I live in the South. Here and especially country town people are kind, loving and giving. The people in the country are/were closer to the land. They are not worried about intellectual problems. The only way you can help them is get off your butt sitting behind the computer. I can't talk to because he's crazy will not work. There are some you/them who can understand some issues. We'll never know if our relatives are crazy or uninformed. If you don't talk to them human to human, it can't turn into just an emoji debate. Take AI. That's different. Just pause. They are building huge data centers that are raising state utility rates and dumping ^%*& into stream waste going south. They are building one 20 miles outside Birmingham, AL. The cost to build is shared by the people of AL who receive higher utility bills. These centers have very few workers. Surrounding town fails. Cheaper prices attract poor people from Birmingham. WTF!! I hear ya, but maybe if we did things a little different upstream and made demands based on ecology--There you go with your BIG WORD SHIT!
